Your challenge:
Help us to prevent diabetic foot wounds and amputations. Every 20 seconds someone loses a part of their foot due to a diabetic foot wound that does not heal. These amputations can be prevented if you can intervene in time.
Secuped develops an innovative home-monitoring device that detects early warning signs and alerts people at risk and their healthcare providers that an intervention is necessary When alerted in time, diabetic foot wounds can be prevented through relatively simple interventions like taking rest or getting better fitting footwear.
To make this possible, we are looking for a Biomedical Engineer or Computer Scientist who will lead the development of image-based analysis algorithms and integrate them into our diagnostic system.

Help us to prevent diabetic foot wounds and amputations
Job Title:
Biomechanical Engineer – MedTech product development
Your challenge:
People with long-term diabetes are at risk of developing diabetic foot ulcers, which affect about a quarter of all diabetes patients. These wounds are preventable, but current solutions are neither user-friendly nor cost-effective for physicians to prescribe. Secuped is developing an innovative home-monitoring device to fill this gap—and we need your expertise to design the core internal mechanics and sensing algorithms that make this possible.
