Leiden Bioscience Park and Kansen voor West have awarded an advice voucher to Secuped. The voucher supports Secuped in the costs for the unlock_ incubation program.

Secuped develops a home monitoring device that helps people at risk of diabetic foot ulcers and their healthcare providers to detect early warning signs of ulcer onset. Early intervention enables prevention of diabetic foot ulcers. The Secuped solution aims to help people with diabetes with timely alerts.

The unlock_ program has helped Secuped to develop from two co-founders with an idea, early prototypes and clinical collaborators into a growing venture. A dedicated coach helped Secuped to set priorities and shape the development of the team. Secuped currently has a team of six full-time employees and an active clinical network. This network started in Leiden with the Leiden University Medical Center and has since grown to include partners from preventive footcare to rehabilitiation.

Secuped is an active member of the Leiden Bioscience Park community and is located in PLNT, a great environment within the Leiden Bioscience Park for growing start-ups.
